Every summer the tiny Southern village of Placencia hosts their annual Lobsterfest to commemorate the beginning of the lobster season and this year the festival was bigger than ever, drawing crowds from all across Belize and the world. Highlights included the 2014 Placencia Lobsterfest official raffle, live jam sessions, food competitions, the Panerrifix Steel Drum Band, the Benque Viejo Marching Bank, and the eagerly anticipated Lionfish tournament .

6th annual ..THE MIAMI SPINY LOBSTER TOURNAMENT mini season 2015… This annual event to raise money for STILTSVILLE a Miami icon… The tournament is held the last Wednesday & Thursday of july during lobster mini season.. weigh-in party is on the Friday the 31st. at 5pm… DELI LANE CAFÉ/SUNSET TAVERN 7232 sw 59th ave south Miami Florida… Live music, crab races, food & drink specials and the crowning of the 2015 LOBSTER KING or QUEEN…BE THERE….
